When we moved to the cabin in the Hiawatha Forest, I lost my writing retreat. Our busy “real lives” filled up my creative space. I’m getting close to having it back.
I’m so excited. We’re close to finishing a tiny multi-use building down at the lake. My future office looks out over the water (or ice, as the case may be). No Internet, phone or TV. No noise or interruptions – just like the cabin used to be. The loft is a little library – I’ve thinned our books multiple times and can get rid of no more.
There’s a sauna too. I love sauna especially after cold weather exercise (something else we love). We’re in the heart of sauna country and I can’t wait to fire it up. Our contracter is an artist. The little building is beautiful.
An answer to prayer.
I’m so grateful.
